Can I use my old Intel processor for my new motherboard ?
Obviously u can't use it because u telling that the cpu is soket 478 and the Motherboard is soket 775, so how u can install it.

the cpu soket 478 has pins and the cpu soket 775 hasn't the motherbord soket 775 has pins.

So u can never use this cpu on that motherboard.

U must buy another motherboard soket 478 or another cpu soket 775.
Reply:asus.com is the best answer for u.
Reply:I doubt it it depends on what socket you pentium 4 is but it is probably not the same.

Yes you can, but with that board I would go dual core they are not very expensive now days, and your performance would be much better. I gave you a link that give you all the info you need on that board from the manufactor.
