is that a good MotherBoard?

is the 2gb ddr2 a good ram, company?

Is this a Good Computer?
ASUS is a good company

Power Supply should be sufficient

The RAM is fine

Downgrade to Windows XP if possible, Vista is horrible!

Dell is crap btw, HP is better.
Reply:Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 64 bit..,go for Windows XP if you have a chance..
Reply:ya that sounds pretty good the only thing i would change is get windows vista home primin.
Reply:Looks pretty good to me.
Reply:Nice build. Won't destroy Crysis with it but will do ok. I would go with 64bit Premium thou. Premium has Aero and a lot more multimedia options than Basic. XP and DX9 are yesterdays news in gaming. I'm in the biz and I haven't sold an XP gaming rig in a long time. I have an XP gaming rig for the old games but its gathering dust while I play Crysis, Lost Planet, Bioshock etc in DX10 on my Vista gamer. I suggest that, if you're a gamer, that you up the ram to 4GBs when you get a chance.
Reply:AMD is getting beat really bad by intel right now...so switch the CPU to an intel CPU and switch the motherboard to a P35 or X30 chipset.

That's not a good video card for gaming either....go for a 9600GT or 8800GT.

Vista Basic is uhh....well..i'll put it this way...it's "vista" with all the nice vista features taken out...go for home premium x64 instead.

The PSU is from an unreliable brand....if you listed some others that you were interested in i could pick the best one for you.

The RAM is good...you're fine there.
Reply:wow..... um i have no idea but i think a MAC book air or just a MAC book is good cuz they are small and just easy.... or a DELL if u get a MAC get it in white... but u should definitley get the MAC book air!! its soo cool!
Reply:another poster is right that intel is currently making better processors, but my guess is that you have a really good price on that AMD because they are all so cheap right now, so you will probably be pretty good with that.

That seems like a pretty good system for now. It's certainly not something that could run Crysis at top specs, but nothing really can now anyways.

OH and Dont bother with Vista Basic, Go to at least Vista Home Premium, and you probably dont need the 64 bit version anyways. Vista Basic is the Vista disabled, its like an intel celeron, all the promise, no delivery.

The Power supply seems a little weak for future friendliness, consider at least a 600 but probably more, not for now, for later.

Also that video card is pretty good, but it depends on what you want to do with it. Consider an 8800GT for graphics power because they are the best value for the money at the moment, remember Nvidia has something new coming soon.
Reply:If you need 64-bit vista, get 64-bit vista. If you don't know why you would need it, don't get it :) Seriously, go XP. That said, I have 64-bit vista, because I need it.

Other than that, yes, this is quite a above mid-shelf computer, with balance of games and productivity.
Reply:Seems pretty good to me, it all depends on what you're going to use it for. But you might want to check the latency on the ram, the lower the better. And look around on the internet for reviews on some of these products. All in all a good PC.
Reply:i have no clue
Reply:get a 20inch and ull get 1650x1050 rest is rly good but if u a gamer get a better card
