Electricity.. should i stick it in?

i gotta charge my big flashlight.. but i lost the charger.. i found a charger that came with the flashlight, but that one has to get plugged into the car... i took some plastic off and revealed some magical wires... can i wrap the wires in two separate bundles and put it in my electric socket? one set of wire goes in one hole, one goes in the other.. will this work? what if i attach one set of wires to this, and the other one to the other metal thing? **** this is hard to explain... look at this

can i attach one set of wires to one of the things from the link and the other set of wires to the other side and put it in the outlet? i have the normal american outlets, not the one in the link

Electricity.. should i stick it in?
Nope, can't do it. Your car charger is 12 volt. Your house outlet is 110 volt. They are incompatable. Chargers that plug into an outlet of a house have a transformer that changes the 110 volts Alternating Current (AC) to 12 volts Direct Current (DC) - a different 'type' of electricity.

Buy a new charger for the house, or use the car charger - in the car.

Good Luck

Reply:Go ahead, if you want to blow the thing up. The car battery is 12 volts, not at all the same as your house current, so if you plug the wires into a house outlet you can kiss it all good-bye.

Contact the manufacturer of the flashlight for a replacement charger.
