Pekingese Eye Problem please help!!!?

My 3 year old pekingese "Honey" had her eye pop out of her eye socket when she was 4months old. Her eye went back in and thankfully she did not go blind. I took her to the vet immediately when that happened. I did not have any problems with her eye until....

just right now. Her right eye is blurry and it is hard on her top lid. She seems to be struggling to keep her eye wide open. What should I do??? I can't take her to the vet right now b/c it's closed and there are no emergency vets open at this time anymore. I need help on what it may be.

Pekingese Eye Problem please help!!!?
It's best to take her to your vet. It might be ruptured or infected and since she is not wanting to open it, it sounds like it's painful to her. The blurriness is an indication of injury or blindness.

Please don't put anything in her eye as you could cause further damage.
Reply:It seems she bumps to wall or chair. it is called "Cherry eye". you need to bring this to your vet and operate.
Reply:Try to get into the Vet's office as soon as possible. Check to see if there are any openings this weekend and if not get a washcloth wet with warm water and do some compresses on it. More than likely, something has touched the eye that is irritating it or it could have an ulcer. If she's struggling to keep it open then that means it's painful to her. When you go to the Vet they can stain the eye and then examine it to see what the problem is and give you some antibiotics to help heal it. Until then - try to the warm compresses! Good Luck!
Reply:It sounds more like something is scratching her eye and irritating it. A corneal scratch can cause the eye to look blurry or cloudy. Call your vet as soon as they open in the morning and go right in. Tell them its an emergency. You don't want to risk her eyesight. I don't really know what you could do. Maybe try rinsing the eye out if you can to flush it out.
Reply:OK. Learned this from my grandma who was raised on a farm. Take a tea bag and get it wet with warm water like if you were making tea, then squeeze some out and just drip it on there like drops. They take a soft garment and wipe it easy from the outside toward the nose. Keep doing that till you see a difference. It should only take a few times. If not try warming a little bit of milk and droping that in her eye. Sounds yucky but it worked on my kittens and even my kids. Only my grandmother said to use breast milk lol I did and that works better that store milk. LOL hope to have helped you.
