Did you have a fun Easter?

My Easter was....interesting. I was having fun. But then everyone showed up. :( You see we made it passed dinner fine. Afterwards though my sister (sister-A) said that if we didn't turn on a movie she was leaving. My brother (brother-A) brought over a movie called "Blood Diamond." I didn't want to watch it and neither did sister-B or brother-C, so we were playing our GameBoys (you are never too old for GameBoys!). Then brother-A got up and turned off the light. We went, "Hey!" Brother-A yells out, "I can't see the TV!" So, Brother-C and I went to fetch our game-lights. When I came back out brother-A had unscrewed half the light bubs in out overhead light. The funny part was he unscrewed the ones farther away from where we were playing our GBs, AND he broke a light bub in the socket. After a while I left to the study where the family computer lied in waiting. And the next thing I know my grandmother is leaving with sister-A. My grandma has demicha (spelt completely wrong) and accused my

Reply:Easter was nice....we woke early to see what the Easter Bunny brought for the kids! They were ecstatic! Then when went to church for an Easter Breakfast, then church service. I had put a ham in the crockpot so when we got home, lunch was pretty much ready. We just had to whip up some side items to go with the ham! We had a very relaxing Easter lunch...just the 4 of us and then played Monopoly!





Interesting that you mentioned Blood Diamond...we watched that Friday night...it's actually a pretty good movie.....but sounds like whether you watched it or not....you still would not have excaped the drama!! Hope your week goes better!

Reply:we did an easter egg hunt, had lots of family,friends 4 dinner and i got a big easter basket. my mom says egg hunts r good 4 more years yet. anyone else do that?
Reply:Church service was wonderful, the music was inspirational and uplifting!





We came home after that and opted for Brunswick Stew, Bar-B-Que, Cole Slaw and Roasted Potatoes instead of the traditional Easter Dinner. It was good!





We then settled down on the sofas and watched the Passion of Christ. Had never seen it, some scenes were hard to watch. The ending was perfect even though it did not follow the Bible and had scenes that were not even in the Bible it was inspirational to watch.

Reply:Well to start the day off, I woke my three kids up at six a.m. so that we could make it to sunrise service, after church we had breakfast at the church served by the conformation kids at our church (including my youngest sister).





After breakfast we went to my parents house and visited for a couple of hours.





When we got home my kids found their Easter baskets and eggs.





For dinner we went to an "Easter Buffet" with my grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle, two of my brothers and one of my sisters. Which was great for a few reasons, I got to spend time with my family, I didn't have to cook or clean up and the food was fantastic.





After all of that, we came home got the kids into bed and then my husband and I watched a movie together before heading to bed.





Pretty good day over all.
Reply:Saturday was terrific as my new grandson was born in the afternoon. His name is JOPPE.


I went for a walk in the city on Sunday and today I cleaned the flat and listened to some music.
