i want a Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz 1333MHz Socket LGA775 'Conroe' Retail CPU

(altho i;m thinking about getting Core 2 Quad, but anything got to be better than the intel D i had)

it says at the bottom of the page it says

"Note: To help meet the required processor thermal specifications, an internal ambient temperature at or below 38ยบ C"

thank you!

Intel Core 2 cooler?
For a solid quiet heatsink and fan, I'd go for the Scythe Ninja. This consistently wins as the quietest cooling system (other than water cooling).
Reply:if you buy a retail cpu if will come with a fan, just use that it will be fine.

i am just using the factory intel one on my core 2 quad

from that site you listed i would pick this one (if your case has the room for it)

it has 4 heatpipes and the fan can blow the air towards the back of the case to get the heat out
Reply:If you will not overclock, stock cooler is just fine. Just provide adequate case ventilation.

If you will overclock, pick any of the top performing coolers here:
