Do ghosts drain energy?

On Ghosthunters, the electronic device batteries are quickly drained .This is said to be entities absorbing the energy. Why not bring a couple of car or truck batteries along. The ghosts wouldn't notice C, D or AA"s.with those around. Then they could investigate longer.Do ghosts only absorb DC?What about the AC in wall sockets?

Do ghosts drain energy?
I'm pretty sure that using those devices drain the energy from them.

This "energy draining" phenomenon is what is used to explain cold spots too. It's yet another example of the investigative techniques of these ghost hunters--if something went wrong a ghost did it.
Reply:They are a huge drain on the intellectual energy of this country.
Reply:Hey Zach, too funny.
Reply:No, ghosts definitly dont drain AC power. Maybe they should just bring AC adapters so they can plug thier devices in.

It would mean a little sacrifice in mobility, but it would be worth it. They could hire a kid to follow them from room to room plugging them in.

I think truck and car batteries get drained by ghosts, because in the movies they can never get thier car started right away.
Reply:why are you wasting your time on such stupid questions....there's nothing like a ghost....if it would be you'd be never getting a power supply in your house... so many people have died and according to you if they all went up and feed themself up on energy then there would be no power supply left..these kind of serials are made only for entertainment not for getting some sort of debate onwhether they exists or not
Reply:I think they can only effect some things,

if your careful about your electronics design, they don't seem to be able to affect things.

I think they mess with things electro-magnetically more than they drain things.

it would be really hard for you to tell if they were draining AC, there is so much of it available, and its hard to tell what is going on in small amounts.
Reply:Yep. There it goes. Yup. My brain stopped.

I didn't even know Paranormal phenomena was a topic on Y!A. XD Cool!
