My harddisk had some bad sectors on c drive .Though i replaced that harddisk ,problem remains the same.

How do I know the exact problem?
I am in india.Please suggest.
AMD 2 GHz +M@NMX board +1gb ram+512mb onboard grafics memory in problem.?
it sounds likely that your CPU is overheating, thats what usually causes the computer to shut down, the way to make sure of this is to install the PC PROBE utility in the utility section of your motherboard driver CD and keep that running, it should give you warnings when your CPU reaches a dangerous temperature. if it is the CPU that is overheating, install a new heatsink on the CPU that is designed for the best cooling, if it is the motheboard temperature, then install more fans in your case or get a new case.
Another reason why you computer might shut down is because the power supply is not powerful enough, this is unlikely because you are using onboard graphics, but ask the place where you got the computer from to test wether the PSU is compatable.
Reply:Well if you overheated your board to the point of needing to replace it and you have replaced the memory and hard drive the only thing left is the CPU. It sounds like you fried the CPU too. The only to really make sure is to swap out your CPU for a known good and then see if it works.
Also make sure that you have reloaded all of the new MOBO drivers for the new board and are using a fresh install of XP with the correct GFX drivers.
