There used to be a small "c" type clip on my Craftsman imapct gun and now it fell off and i cant find it.Now my sockets fall off everytime i try to use it. Is there anyhting i can do to keep my sockets on the gun without the small clip.Anyway to "rig" it. I doubt any parts store will have this clip if i ask for it.Thanks.
Does any one have a tip on how to keep my sockets on my impact gun without falling off since i lost the clip?
duct tape... put a piece over the end. slide the socket over it... it should stay tight ;)

Reply:Maybe the parts store will, maybe they won't, wouldn't hurt to ask. If not, look on the impact tool for the manufacturer, then find their web page and see if they sell parts.
If not, it's time for a new impact gun.
Reply:go to a hardware store if Sears can't come up with the clip.
